The average number of days on the market for a home has increased this month to 92; the past 5 months it has been 43-51 days on average.  An explanation as to the reason for the sudden increase in days on the market and decrease in sold homes, could be due to the average sale price of a single family home is now at the highest level that it has been in the past year.  The average single family home in Bozeman is now $563,172!  During the month of July, townhomes and condos took a jump in price, but in August these desirable homes migrated back to more of a "normal" price- $261,243 for condos and $317,060 for townhomes.  Following are more exciting stats from Caldwell Banker ‘Distinctive Properties’ of Bozeman
